Registered Dietitians (also known as Registered Dietitian Nutritionists) are experts in the field of food and nutrition. RDs have completed specified academic course work, completed a period of supervised practice, passed a national registration examination, and complete ongoing continuing education. RD is a regulated credential, available only to those who follow this process. The term “nutritionist” alone is not a regulated credential and does not guarantee that the person using the term is a qualified nutrition professional.

In this first session, our main goal is to get to know each other and discuss how to begin your personalized nutrition care. Our work is all about you, so we'll focus on what you identify as important and how you see yourself growing and improving through this process. I'll also spend time getting to know some specifics about your health including your history, current nutrition, lifestyle, identified needs and more. Using this information and your goals as our guide we'll create a unique, structured plan with actionable steps to start your journey.

Fuel for Function is 100% virtual with all sessions being conducted via Telehealth. We utilize Zoom to conduct video sessions via the Healthie EMR platform, both of which are HIPAA-compliant.

Fuel for Function provides services via self-pay at this time. Superbills can be made available upon request.
